Multipolar Resonances in Electro‐Optic Metasurfaces with Moderate Refractive Index
Electro‐optic nanoantennas with moderate refractive indices of 2.3 to 3.0 are numerically shown to sustain strong multipolar resonances, enabling efficient light confinement and EO tuning. Multipolar modes of even parity are most sensitive to variations in the refractive index.

One-step volumetric additive manufacturing of complex polymer structures. [PDF]
Two limitations of additive manufacturing methods that arise from layer-based fabrication are slow speed and geometric constraints (which include poor surface quality). Both limitations are overcome in the work reported here, introducing a new volumetric

Design of a 2 diopter holographic progressive lens
In this contribution, we investigate the use of holographic optical elements (HOEs) as progressive addition lenses (PALs). We design HOEs with high diffraction efficiency (DE) using the Fourier Modal Method (FMM) and optimize an optical system comprising two of these HOEs to fulfill the optical function of a 2 diopter (dpt) PAL. The resulting design is

Real‐Time In Vivo Cellular‐Level Imaging During Puncture
We present an artificial‐intelligence‐empowered integrative‐light‐field microendoscopy (AIM) needle that delivers real‐time in vivo, diffraction‐limited cellular‐level imaging during puncture and visualizes layered microstructures along the needle path. As a microscopic complement to CT/ultrasound, it improves sampling localization and adds preliminary

Adaptation of the Standard Off-Axis Digital Holographic Microscope to Achieve Variable Magnification
Traditional microscopy provides only for a small set of magnifications using a finite set of microscope objectives. Here, a novel architecture is proposed for quantitative phase microscopy that requires only a simple adaptation of the traditional off ...

Holographic assembly of quasicrystalline photonic heterostructures
Quasicrystals have a higher degree of rotational and point-reflection symmetry than conventional crystals. As a result, quasicrystalline heterostructures fabricated from dielectric materials with micrometer-scale features exhibit interesting and useful ...

Holographic capture and projection system of real object based on tunable zoom lens
In this paper, we propose a holographic capture and projection system of real objects based on tunable zoom lenses. Different from the traditional holographic system, a liquid lens-based zoom camera and a digital conical lens are used as key parts to ...

This study establishes an electric field‐induced directional migration model using fluorescence tension probes to visualize microfilament forces and intracellular osmotic pressure dynamics in the electrotactic migration of breast cancer cells. This model delineates how electromechanical interactions among membrane potential, ion channels, OP, traction ...
