Vision‐Augmented Wearable Interfaces: Bioinspired Approaches for Realistic AI‐Human‐Machine Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review presents recent progress in vision‐augmented wearable interfaces that combine artificial vision, soft wearable sensors, and exoskeletal robots. Inspired by biological visual systems, these technologies enable multimodal perception and intelligent human–machine interaction.

Quantum Informational Dark Energy: Dark energy from forgetting

open access: yes, 2007
We suggest that dark energy has a quantum informational origin. Landauer's principle associated with the erasure of quantum information at a cosmic horizon implies the non-zero vacuum energy having effective negative pressure.

Cosmological quantum tunneling and the holographic principle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The probable trajectory of the ground-state wave function of the universe arises through quantum tunneling by gravitational instantons. We calculate the quantum tunneling rate for an (n>2)-dimensional closed Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe with a ...

Direct Photocurrent Detection of Optical Vortex Based on the Orbital Photo Galvanic Effect: Progress, Challenge, and Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Direct orbital angular momentum (OAM) detection through the orbital photogalvanic effect offers a scalable route for integrated optoelectronics. This perspective evaluates symmetry‐driven material selection and demonstrates how electrode matrices enable the resolution of complex, mixed OAM modes.

Holographic action principle for TT¯-deformation

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We explore the action principle for the holographic TT¯-deformation. We develop a scheme in which one can holographically reproduce the action of the Liouville theory deformed by TT¯-insertion.

Holographic cosmology from “dimensional reduction” of N = 4 SYM vs. AdS5 × S 5

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We propose a way to obtain holographic cosmology models for 3+1 dimensional cosmologies vs. 3 dimensional field theories from a “dimensional reduction” procedure, obtained by integrating over the time direction, of (modifed) standard holographic duals of

Holographic fluctuations and the principle of minimal complexity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A bstractWe discuss, from a quantum information perspective, recent proposals of Maldacena, Ryu, Takayanagi, van Raamsdonk, Swingle, and Susskind that spacetime is an emergent property of the quantum entanglement of an associated boundary quantum system.

Harmonic holography: a new holographic principle

open access: yesApplied Optics, 2007
The process of second harmonic generation (SHG) has a unique property of forming a sharp optical contrast between noncentrosymmetric crystalline materials and other types of material, which is a highly valuable asset for contrast microscopy. The coherent signal obtained through SHG also allows for the recording of holograms at high spatial and temporal

Random Time‐Space Coding Metasurfaces for Spatial Control of the Temporal Statistics of Electromagnetic Fields

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A probabilistic framework based on random time‐space coding metasurfaces enables control of the spatial distribution of electromagnetic fields temporal statistics. By tailoring the marginal and joint distributions of random codes, electromagnetic fields with desired mean and variance patterns are realized, enabling simultaneous transmission and jamming.

Explaining Holographic Dark Energy

open access: yesGalaxies, 2013
The possible holographic origin of dark energy is investigated. The main existing explanations, namely the UV/IR connection argument of Cohen et al., Thomas’ bulk holography argument, and Ng’s spacetime foam argument, are shown to be not wholly ...
