Holographic Stereograms From Computer Generated Images
SPIE Proceedings, 1987Techniques for production of holographic stereograms are described with special attention given to stereograms with computer-generated graphics. Photographic techniques and equipment for recording computer graphic imHLges are discussed. Applications in various fields are reviewed.

1969
The holographic stereogram, a hologram synthesized from ordinary stereoscopic component photographs, is investigated as an alternative to classical holograms and to previous types of stereograms for three-dimensional perfect imagery. The process is partly holographic in nature, but it provides images of naturally illuminated objects, and its ...

3D TV by holographic stereogram (II)
SPIE Proceedings, 2007Computer holographic stereogram (CHS) is useful for holographic 3D TV because it is constructed from the multi horizontal viewpoint plane images and is compatible to the multi-view point images. Each hologram is recorded as a slit hologram (element hologram) but total viewing area and the number of the element holograms have been limited to some extent

Color conical holographic stereogram
Optical Engineering, 1995A new method to record a color holographic stereogram and its application in the synthesis of a conical holographic stereogram are presented. The method consists in recording three rainbow holograms on each slit hologram component of the holographic stereogram.

Phase profiles for holographic stereograms
Optical Engineering, 1995The diffractive phase profile of holographic stereograms is calculated using different types of diffusing functions, which can be categorized in two groups: object-dependent and object-independent diffusers. It is shown that object-independent diffusing profiles lead to considerable computational savings at the expense of some interperspective leakage.

HOLOGRAPHIC STEREOGRAM FROM SEQUENTIAL COMPONENT PHOTOGRAPHS
Applied Physics Letters, 1968Holograms of naturally illuminated objects are synthesized in two steps. A stereoscopic camera technique is used to record the objects' parallax qualities in white light; this photographic information is transformed into a hologram with coherent light. The image quality is excellent, and the method seems practical for making full-color reconstructions ...

Anamorphic imagery in holographic stereograms
Optics Communications, 1973Abstract Horizontal parallax only (HPO) holographic stereograms may exhibit anamorphic imagery in the reconstructed image. We calculated the anamorphic ratio, using geometrical optics, as a function of recording and viewing geometry. an experimental example verifying the calculated results is presented.

Layered holographic stereogram based on inverse Fresnel diffraction
Applied Optics, 2016We propose an efficient algorithm using layered holographic stereogram for three-dimensional (3D) computer-generated holograms. The hologram is spatially partitioned into multiple holographic elements (hogels) to provide the occlusion effect and motion parallax by use of multiple viewpoint rendering.

Holographic stereogram printer for computer-generated holograms
Optics, Photonics, and Digital Technologies for Imaging Applications V, 2018A design and implementation of full-parallax holographic stereogram printer is presented. The holographic stereogram is synthesized using 2D perspective images of the 3D object that are rendered from multiple directions. The perspective images of the 3D scene are firstly captured by a virtual camera and transformed to two-dimensional holographic ...
