Research and Experimental Application of Family Holographic Projection Entertainment Equipment

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
This paper introduces a kind of family entertainment equipment based on holographic projection technology and optical principle. It can achieve 3D viewing of video effect without wearing any head display equipment, with a sense of immersion and ...

Single-Cell Elasticity Measurement with an Optically Actuated Microrobot

open access: yesMicromachines, 2020
A cell elasticity measurement method is introduced that uses polymer microtools actuated by holographic optical tweezers. The microtools were prepared with two-photon polymerization. Their shape enables the approach of the cells in any lateral direction.

Futures of Everyday Life: A Qualitative Content Analysis of Future Personas in Scenarios

open access: yesFUTURES &FORESIGHT SCIENCE, Volume 8, Issue 1, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Scenario reports, holding a long‐standing tradition in foresight and futures studies, act as an essential document for organizations to prepare for possible, plausible, and alternative futures. Focusing on descriptions and representations of everyday life, we examined 29 future persona narratives from six publications—covering a wide field ...

Single-pixel holographic video camera

open access: yesOptics Express
Optical scanning holography (OSH) can measure three-dimensional (3D) fluorescence targets by recording incoherent holograms with two-dimensional Fresnel zone pattern (FZP) scanning and a single-pixel detector. However, the complexity of the optical setup has limited its applicability.

Patterning the Void: Combining L‐Systems with Archimedean Tessellations as a Perspective for Tissue Engineering Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 23, 19 March 2026.
This study introduces a novel multi‐scale scaffold design using L‐fractals arranged in Archimedean tessellations for tissue regeneration. Despite similar porosity, tiles display vastly different tensile responses (1–100 MPa) and deformation modes. In vitro experiments with hMSCs show geometry‐dependent growth and activity. Over 55 000 tile combinations

Transmission of 3D holographic information over a radio channel by a method close to SSB

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики
The results of the research on the possibility of transmitting holographic information over the Wi-Fi 40 MHz radio channel are presented. It is shown that the use of two main 3D image modalities for this, — a depth map of the holographic object and the ...

Expanding the toolbox for nanoparticle trapping and spectroscopy with holographic optical tweezers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We have developed a workstation based on holographic tweezers to optically trap, move and characterize metal nanoparticles. Our advanced darkfield imaging system allows us to simultaneously image and take spectra of single trapped metal nanoparticles. We

Recomposable Layered Metasurfaces for Wavelength‐Multiplexed Optical Encryption via Modular Diffractive Deep Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 24, 23 March 2026.
Modular diffractive deep neural network metasurfaces encode and reconstruct holograms across layer combinations and wavelengths, enabling secure, multifunctional operation. Each layer acts independently yet composes jointly, yielding up to m(2N −1) channels for m wavelengths and N layers.

Projection-Type Holographic Display With Observation Area Expanded Using Time-Division Reproduced Light Generation System

open access: yesIEEE Access
Projection-type holographic displays are three-dimensional (3D) displays that utilize computer holography. These displays consist of a projection lens and a transparent holographic optical element (HOE) with off-axis concave mirror phase distribution and
