Holographic ferromagnetism model with the Maxwell field strength corrections

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
In the probe limit, we investigate the effect of the quartic field strength correction to the usual Maxwell field on the holographic paramagnetism/ferromagnetism phase transition in the background of a 4-dimensional Schwarzschild-AdS black hole spacetime.

Biomimetic Membrane Interface Technologies for Detection and Isolation of CTCs and EVs: Advances and Opportunities in Liquid Biopsy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biomimetic membrane interface engineering constructs functionalized detection platforms by integrating natural cell membranes, synthetic lipids, or hybrid membranes. This strategy effectively reduces background interference and enables efficient target capture and analysis, showing broad applications in circulating tumor cell separation, extracellular ...

Marginally Trapped Surfaces and AdS/CFT

open access: yes, 2017
It has been proposed that the areas of marginally trapped or anti-trapped surfaces (also known as leaves of holographic screens) may encode some notion of entropy.

Polarization‐Dependent 3D Holography Generated by Inverse Design Nanoprinting Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel polarization‐dependent 3D holography is proposed by introducing polarization as an additional freedom, enabling enhanced depth selectivity and greater control over holographic reconstruction. The efforts perfectly combine the polarization and 3D holography display into ADAM gradient descent algorithm, the application of nanoprinting further ...

Higher Spins without (Anti-)de Sitter

open access: yesUniverse, 2018
Can the holographic principle be extended beyond the well-known AdS/CFT correspondence? During the last couple of years, there has been a substantial amount of research trying to find answers for this question. In this work, we provide a review of recent

Holographic space-time and its phenomenological implications

open access: yes, 2010
I briefly review the theory of Holographic Space-time and its relation to the cosmological constant problem, and the breaking of supersymmetry (SUSY). When combined with some simple phenomenological requirements, these ideas lead to a fairly unique model

Scrambling‐Enhanced Quantum Battery Charging in Black Hole Analogues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By employing a black‐hole‐analog quantum battery constructed from a position‐dependent XY model, its dynamical behavior is investigated through a quench of the scrambling parameter. It is systematically quantified that how the simulated scrambling improves key performance metrics‐namely, stored energy, peak power, and charging time‐thereby offering a ...

Dispersive Full‐Channel Jones Matrix Modulation in Elliptical Polarization Bases via a Single‐Layered Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a dispersive full‐channel Jones matrix modulation strategy using single‐layer metasurface. By synergizing wavelength dispersion engineering with elliptical polarization bases, independent control of four Jones matrix channels is achieved across multiple wavelengths.

Maxwell-Chern-Simons Vortices and Holographic Superconductors

open access: yes, 2010
We investigate probe limit vortex solutions of a charged scalar field in Einstein-Maxwell theory in 3+1 dimensions, for an asymptotically AdS Schwarzschild black hole metric with the addition of an axionic coupling to the Maxwell field.

XOR‐Logic Phase Coding Programmable Metasurface for Low Power‐Consumption Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By leveraging XOR logic, the biasing‐network complexity of 2D programmable metasurfaces is reduced from m×n to m+n through efficient row‐column control. This enables versatile functions including beam deflection and beamforming, facilitating applications in wireless communications and beyond.
