Holography principle and arithmetic of algebraic curves [PDF]
According to the holography principle (due to G.`t Hooft, L. Susskind, J. Maldacena, et al.), quantum gravity and string theory on certain manifolds with boundary can be studied in terms of a conformal field theory on the boundary.

Deconstruction and holography [PDF]
It was recently pointed out that the physics of a single discrete gravitational extra dimension exhibits a peculiar UV/IR connection relating the UV scale to the radius of the effective extra dimension. Here we note that this non-locality is a manifestation of holography, encoding the correct scaling of the number of fundamental degrees of freedom of ...

Fabrication Method for Spin-Coating ITO-Competitive PEDOT:PSS onto PVDF Film
This paper shows a four-order reduction of magnitude in sheet resistance for spin-coating poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) onto polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film for a final sheet resistance comparable to commercially ...

Heterodyne Holography with full control of both signal and reference arms
Heterodyne holography is a variant of phase shifting holography in which reference and signal arms are controlled by acousto optic modulators. In this review paper, we will briefy describe the method and its properties, and we will illustrate its ...

Nitrogen‐Vacancy Magnetometry of Edge Magnetism in WS2 Flakes
Using nitrogen‐vacancy magnetometry, the authors visualize room‐temperature stray magnetic fields localized at the edges of WS2 flakes. Their measurements reveal edge‐specific magnetization consistent with spin canting in antiferromagnetically coupled edge states.

Holography and unitarity [PDF]
Abstract If holography is an equivalence between quantum theories, one might expect it to be described by a map that is a bijective isometry between bulk and boundary Hilbert spaces, preserving the hamiltonian and symmetries.
