ONDAR: An ontology for home automation

An architecture for a home automation system

No.98EX196), 2002This paper introduces home automation very briefly and mentions current standardisation trends in this field. Then, a new system architecture is proposed and its main characteristics are described. The proposed architecture has a distributed nature, is very modular and can be easily expanded in size and functionality.
