Local homogeneity

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Logic, 2004
Abstract. We study the expansion of stable structures by adding predicates for arbitrary subsets. Generalizing work of Poizat-Bouscaren on the one hand and Baldwin-Benedikt-Casanovas-Ziegler on the other we provide a sufficient condition (Theorem 4.7) for such an expansion to be stable.

Direct numerical investigations of dilute dispersed flows in homogeneous turbulence

open access: yes, 2012
The motivation for the present work is to investigate particle-laden turbulent flows using accurate numerical simulations. In the present work, the carrier phase is modeled using direct numerical simulations (DNS) and the particles are tracked in a ...

Clinical Outcomes of SEEG‐Guided Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation in Children With Focal Drug‐Resistant Epilepsy: A Multicenter Real‐World Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) has emerged as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for children with drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. Although evidence from real‐world studies remains limited, numerous pediatric cases have demonstrated promising outcomes. This retrospective

High‐Resolution MRI Revealed Different Etiology‐Specific Associations With Cerebral Infarction in Adult Moyamoya Vasculopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

Connected-homogeneous digraphs

open access: yes, 2016
A directed graph is connected-homogeneous if any isomorphism between every two finite connected subdigraphs extends to an automorphism of the digraph. In this talk we discuss the the classification of the countable such digraphs.

Understanding Further the Phenotypic Spectrum of Central Nervous System Inflammatory Demyelinating Disorders Using Unsupervised Clustering

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) inflammatory demyelinating syndromes, including multiple sclerosis (MS), aquaporin‐4 antibody–positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (AQP4 + NMOSD), and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), occasionally overlap.

Biased representation of homothetic preferences on homogeneous sets [PDF]

open access: yes
In the homogeneous case of one-dimensional objects, we show that any preference relation that is positive and homothetic can be represented by a quantitative utility function and unique bias.

Infinitesimal characterization of almost Hermitian homogeneous spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
summary:In this note it is shown that almost Hermitian locally homogeneous manifolds are determined, up to local isometries, by an integer $k_H$, the covariant derivatives of the curvature tensor up to order $k_H+2$ and the covariant derivatives of the ...

Neutral tridentate PNP ligands and their hybrid analogues: Versatile non-innocent scaffolds for homogeneous catalysis

open access: yes, 2009
Ligands in coordination chemistry and homogeneous catalysis are traditionally "static" spectators that do not actively participate in the catalytic cycle.
