A computational model for analyzing heat and mass transfer in MHD viscoelastic nanofluid flow with Brownian motion, thermal radiation and chemical reaction are developed in this work. The findings demonstrate how flow stability, heat transfer, and solute distribution are impacted by these significant physical effects.

Buffer or Conduit? Global Agri‐food Value Chains and Food Price Transmission
Abstract In an era of volatile global markets, stabilizing domestic food prices has become increasingly critical. This paper examines how participation in global agri‐food value chains (GVCs) influences food price transmission through a robust two‐step regression framework.

A unified theory of structural change [PDF]
This paper uses dynamic general equilibrium and computational methods, inspired by the multi-sector growth model structure in Stephen Turnovsky’s previous and more recent work, to develop a theory that unifies two of the traditional explanations of ...

Carbon tax pass‐through in western Canadian grain transportation
Abstract This paper examines the impact of Canada's federal carbon tax on farmgate grain prices, focusing on pass‐through in the grain transportation sector. The tax, which was eliminated in April 2025 amid concerns about rising food costs, was widely criticized by farmers for increasing expenses related to fertilizer, propane, and rail shipping.

The Effect of Swiss Free Trade Agreements on Agricultural Trade
ABSTRACT As a country highly dependent on imports, Switzerland has many free trade agreements (FTAs) that liberalise trade barriers. We assess how these agreements affect Swiss agricultural imports at different margins of trade adjustment. We estimate reduced‐form gravity models using agricultural trade data for 202 partner countries from 2004 to 2022.

Scanner Data and the Construction of Inter‐Regional Price Indexes
ABSTRACT The paper uses scanner data to measure the welfare effects of differing product availability across six Japanese regions. To eliminate the chain drift problem associated with the use of scanner data, various multilateral indexes were computed: GEKS, Geary–Khamis, and Weighted Time Product Dummy Hedonic price indexes.

Black hole shadow: Experimental test of different models and shadow of dynamical Hayward black hole
Recent observations of black hole shadows have revolutionized our ability to probe gravity in extreme environments. This manuscript presents a novel analytic model of the shadow of a dynamical Hayward black hole.
