Holography as homotopy

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Abstract We give an interpretation of holography in the form of the AdS/CFT correspondence in terms of homotopy algebras. A field theory such as a bulk gravity theory can be viewed as a homotopy Lie or L ∞ algebra.

New Generalised Semi‐Analytical Approach for the Multidimensional Nonlinear Collisional Fragmentation Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, Volume 98, Issue 8, Page 980-999, August 2026.
This work aims to develop a generalised and efficient semi‐analytical method that combines the Laplace decomposition method with Pade approximation (LDMPA) to solve multidimensional nonlinear integro‐partial differential equation. For a one‐dimension case, explicit (closed‐form) solutions for the number density functions are derived for the first time.

A Novel Optimized Local Linearization Hybrid Block Method for Chaotic Systems: Applications to Stretch‐Twist‐Fold Flow and Bond Orbital Chaotic Attractors

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 13148-13175, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The numerical approximation of nonlinear chaotic differential systems, such as the modified stretch‐twist‐fold (STF) flow and multi‐bond chaotic attractors, presents a significant challenge due to their sensitive dependence on initial conditions and complex dynamics where analytical solutions are unattainable.

Foundations of Stable Homotopy Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The beginning graduate student in homotopy theory is confronted with a vast literature on spectra that is scattered across books, articles and decades. There is much folklore but very few easy entry points.

On the homotopy suspension

open access: yesCommentarii Mathematici Helvetici, 1968
The present paper is devoted to a study of the following process: take an ~ rbitrary map d: A-~X, use it to attach the cone CA to X and obtain a space B = X u CA, and then lift d in a natural way to a map e: A ~ F , where F is the "fibre" of the inclusion map X-*B.

Persistent sheaf Laplacian analysis of protein stability and solubility changes upon mutation

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract Genetic mutations frequently disrupt protein structure, stability, and solubility, acting as primary drivers for a wide spectrum of diseases. Despite the critical importance of these molecular alterations, existing computational models often lack interpretability and fail to integrate essential physicochemical interactions.

A User''s Guide to Solving Dynamic Stochastic Games Using the Homotopy Method [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper provides a step-by-step guide to solving dynamic stochastic games using the homotopy method. The homotopy method facilitates exploring the equilibrium correspondence in a systematic fashion; it is especially useful in games that have multiple ...

On bifurcation points of strongly condensing operators

open access: yesНаучный вестник МГТУ ГА, 2016
Two conditions equivalent to complete continuity of Frechet derivative at a point and the asymptotic derivative in the case of their existence are given. Theorem of M.A. Krasnosel’skii on asymptotic bifurcation points for completely con-tinuous fields to

Simulations as Homotopies

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2004
We exhibit a model structure on 2-Cat, obtained by transfer from sSet across the adjunction C2 Sd 2 a Ex 2 N2. A certain class of homotopies in this model structure turns out to be in 1-to-1 correspondence with strong simulations among labeled transitions systems, formalising the geometric intuition of simulations as deformations.
