The Honeycomb Theory of Web3.0

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Service-Oriented System Engineering, 2008
By summarizing the defects and limitation of web2.0, this thesis analyses the characteristics of web3.0, making clear the improvement and superiority upon web2.0. What?s most important, inspiring from the special structure of honeycomb in biology, we bring forward a brand new theory-The Honeycomb Theory, which reveals the essence of web3.0.At last, we ...

Honeycomb rectangular disks

Parallel Computing, 2005
In this paper, we propose a variation of honeycomb meshes. A honeycomb rectangular disk HReD(m, n) is obtained from the honeycomb rectangular mesh HReM(m, n) by adding a boundary cycle. A honeycomb rectangular disk HReD(m, n) is a 3-regular planar graph. It is obvious that the honeycomb rectangular mesh HReM(m, n) is a subgraph of HReD(m, n).

Ductile Fracture of honeycombs

ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 2000
AbstractCrack growth initiation and subsequent resistance in a hexagonal honeycomb made out of ductile base material is investigated in a numerical study. The elasto‐plastic base material is characterized by its yield strain, failure strain and the ratio of ultimate strength to yield strength, assuming a bilinear stress‐strain relationship. Of the base

HoneyComb

Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Tangible, Embedded and Embodied Interaction, 2013
We present the "Honeycomb", a microcontroller platform that can easily be networked into hexagonal lattices of hundreds of nodes to create novel materials that tightly integrate sensing, actuation, computation and communication. The tool-chain consists of the platforms, a viral boot-loader to virally disseminate programs into the network, a software ...

Honeycomb

1995
Abstract Honeycomb is a product consisting of very thin sheets attached to form connecting cells. This article briefly explains the construction, core characteristics, properties, and testing methods of the honeycomb structures. It discusses the special processes carried out in customizing the shape of core to fit customer's specific ...
