ABSTRACT This study demonstrates that weak magnetic fields (16–40 mT) increase the efficiency of the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in electrocatalysts based on non‐fullerene acceptor (NFA) derivatives IT‐4Cl and Y6. Electrochemical measurements reveal that the application of the magnetic field reduces the onset potential and increases the current ...

Effects of Storage Conditions on α-Acid Degradation of Indiana Grown Hops (Humulus Lupulus)
Hop (Humulus lupulusL) belongs to the Cannabaceae family and is well-known to be a dioecious, perennial climbing plant. The common hop is native to temperate climates, but due to its widespread commercial use in the brewing industry, hop plants are grown

Flexible Chitosan‐glycerol sensor integrated with porous laser‐induced graphene (LIG) electrodes enable room‐temperature chemiresistive detection of ammonia (NH3) and proof‐of‐concept detection of fish spoilage. ABSTRACT We report a metal‐free sensor platform combining laser induced graphene (LIG) electrodes with drop‐deposited, glycerol‐plasticized ...

Hierarchically microarchitected PLA/S/CNT cathodes are fabricated via scalable fused filament 3D printing as high‐sulfur‐loading hosts for rechargeable lithium–sulfur batteries. The assembled Li–S cells with sulfur loadings up to 17 mg cm−2 deliver an areal capacity of 9.2 mAh cm−2 and retain 96% of their discharge capacity after 100 charge–discharge ...

Anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes have traditionally served as structural supports in osmotic energy systems. Here, blind‐hole AAO membranes are demonstrated as active ion‐selective platforms with tunable nanopore structures. By balancing membrane resistance, ion selectivity, and flux, enhanced performance is achieved, delivering a maximum power ...

Optimization of the hop harvest in relation to maximizing product quality indicators
The thesis analyses and evaluates content and composition of bitter acids by HPLC method and Hop Storage Index (HSI). These methods were applied on samples taken from four varieties of hop (Saaz, Brewer, Premiant and Agnus) in four locations (Blšany ...

Nonlocomotory Robotic Strategies for Dynamic Rotation Control in Terrestrial Robots: A Review
Terrestrial robots increasingly require rapid body rotation to maintain stability and agility in complex environments. This review shows nonlocomotory rotational control strategies that operate without ground contact, including reaction wheels, tails, bars, limbs, and thrusters.
