Printable Conductive Hydrogels for Electrochemical Biosensing and Soft Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Flexible, conductive hydrogels that integrate printability, mechanical tunability, biocompatibility, and electronic performance remain challenging to achieve. Here, we develop 3D‐printable poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(pyrrole)‐ hydrogels with tissue‐like mechanics, high cytocompatibility, and robust electrochemical function.

Distributed topological convex hull estimation of event region in wireless sensor networks without location information [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In critical event (e.g., fire or gas) monitoring applications of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), convex hull of the event region is an efficient tool in handling the usual tasks like event report, routes reconstruction and human motion planning ...

Polar Lattice‐Distorted Motifs Enable Synergy of Local Polarization/Dipole Fields for Concurrent Glyphosate Wastewater Remediation and CO Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photocatalytic treatment of glyphosate herbicide in agricultural wastewater is achieved through the cooperative effect of the local polarization field and dipole field mediated by lattice‐distorted carbon nitride. Glyphosate is completely degraded via selective C─P bond cleavage with a CO evolution rate of 1166 µmol g−1 h−1.

Pollen physiology and fertilisation in Vicia Faba L [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
In many legume crop species, early-formed fruits or those located closest to the photosynthate are more likely to mature than other fruits. This is so in the Vicia faba crop.

Electrolyte Additive Strategies in Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries: Recent Advances and Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article provides a comprehensive overview of the current status and future development directions of AZIBs electrolyte additives in three aspects: stabilizing zinc anodes (uniform deposition, inhibition of dendritic crystals), protecting cathodes (structural stability, inhibition of dissolution), and enhancing electrolyte stability (wider ...

Influence of Hops Pellets Age on α-acids Utilization and Organoleptic Quality of Beer

open access: yes, 2008
Parallel brewing trials were performed in laboratory brewery. For beer wort hopping, hop pellets of different age (“slightly aged” and “strongly aged” one) and storage indexes (0.35 and 0.59, respectively) were used.

Isosteric Substitution Enables Rational Design of Two‐Dimensional Energetic Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Isosteric substitution transforms a classical nitro–amine motif into two‐dimensional aminofurazans with performance beyond TATB. ABSTRACT Two‐dimensional (2D) energetic crystals dissipate mechanical insult via interlayer slip, yet their molecular design space remains narrow.

Ultrathin Quasi‐2D Perovskite‐Organic Segregated‐Structure Coupling for High‐Performance Narrowband Photomultiplication Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Quasi‐2D perovskite‐organic segregated‐structure coupling enables low‐power narrowband photomultiplication photodetectors with 110 nm perovskite layer. The optimal device achieves 1200% EQE and 1.82 × 1011 Jones D* at 3 V, offering a new strategy for miniaturized high‐selectivity optoelectronic sensing.

Programmable Hydration Pathways Enable Reconfigurable Ionic Thermoelectrics for Energy Harvesting and Thermal‐Tactile Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Programmable hydration pathways enable reconfigurable ionic thermoelectrics in polyquaternium hydrogels. By coupling microscopic solvation, mesoscale water channels, and macroscopic boundary control, hydration‐gated protonics decouples thermopower, response speed, and stability.

Geographic social trust routing: multi-hop message dissemination in intervehicle communication systems using social trust model in geographic networks

open access: yes, 2018
The emergence of smart vehicles has brought up a key concern of secured communication among these connected vehicles. Vehicular adhoc networks (VANET) help communication between these vehicles and road side units (RSU) which helps improve road safety and
