A Study on Economic Analysis of HOQ
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2011This paper put forward the concept of economic house of quality (EHOQ), constructing EHOQ model based on quality economic analysis. The proposed method expands the 10-steps model of traditional house to a new 13-steps model via introducing three new steps which are growth rate of customer cognitive price, annual increment of quality comprehensive cost ...

Quantitatively Augmented QFD-HOQ
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2007<div class="htmlview paragraph">Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a process to translate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) into the technical will of the enterprise. QFD is an integral step in the flowdown of customer requirements into the product system, subsystem(s), components and manufacturing processes.

Conjoint-HoQ: A Quantitative Methodology for Consumer-Driven Design
Volume 6: 33rd Design Automation Conference, Parts A and B, 2007This paper presents a methodology, Conjoint-HoQ, which is meant to provide an improvement over the current House of Quality (HoQ) tool. The improvement comes in the form of quantitative technical information — replacing the qualitative nature of the current HoQ — through integration of conjoint analysis into the HoQ framework. The steps of the Conjoint-

Application of House of Quality (HOQ) to Health Care Management
2009The House of Quality (HOQ) model is proposed to improve health care quality control. A hypothetical case study is given to demonstrate the applicability and benefits of using the proposed methodology. The benefit and drawback analysis of HOQ are also addressed. Concluding remarks and proposals for further research are presented at the end of this paper.

Using HOQ Methodology to Prioritise Organisational Resilience Decisions in Training Establishments
INCOSE International Symposium, 2023AbstractResilience has become an attractive proposition in many organisations seeking to perform well under adversity and uncertainty in a dynamic and changing operational environment. We developed a survey tool to measure organisational resilience and implemented it in several large training establishments.

Application of the HoQ Model to Operations of Health Information Websites
Journal of Korean Society of Medical Informatics, 2005OBJECTIVE: Despite the increasing number of websites about health information, there have been few studies on the issues of enhancing the service quality of health information websites. The purpose of this study is twofold. The first objective is to identify what customers request from health information websites and the key attributes of service ...

Research on Creative Design Method Based on HOQ and TRIZ
2010 International Conference on System Science, Engineering Design and Manufacturing Informatization, 2010QFD (quality function deployment) converts customer's requirement to design request and meet the customer's original needs. Theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ for short) can provide solutions to product conceptual design problems. While QFD ask "what to do", TRIZ indicated "how to do".

The Integration of HOQ and Fuzzy-AHP for Design Concept Evaluation
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Design concept evaluation plays a critical role in the early phases of product development as it has significant impact on the downstream development processes as well as on the success of the product developed. In this paper, a novel methodology has been developed involving two stages. The preliminary stage is screening all the criteria from different

A model of HoQ templet automatic generation based on RBF-ANN
Proceedings of 2004 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics (IEEE Cat. No.04EX826), 2005Quality function deployment (QFD) is a well-known customer-driven methodology of new dryer product development. QFD using house of quality (HoQ) translates customer requirements into all stages of product development. In order to deal with the problems of Dryer conventional quality function deployment (QFD) by employing artificial intelligence theory ...

Application of the HoQ framework to improving QoE of broadband internet services
IEEE Network, 2010High-quality services will be the most important competitive edge in next-generation Internet services such as the broadband Internet access market, which is now reaching a saturation point in many countries. This article presents an application of the House of Quality framework combined with the Analytic Hierarchy Process method for the service ...
