Horn antenna. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014

Lithium Intercalation in the Anisotropic Van Der Waals Semiconductor CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report the lithium intercalation in the layered van der Waals crystal CrSBr, revealing strongly anisotropic ion‐migration dynamics. Optical and electrical characterization of exfoliated CrSBr shows lithium diffusion coefficients that differ by more than an order of magnitude along a‐ and b‐directions, consistent with molecular dynamics simulations ...

The Use of 3D Printing Technology for Manufacturing Metal Antennas in the 5G/IoT Context

open access: yesSensors, 2021
With the rise of 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), and networks operating in the mmWave frequencies, a huge growth of connected sensors will be a reality, and high gain antennas will be desired to compensate for the propagation issues, and with low cost ...

Organometallic Precursor‐Induced Gradient Architecture on Multilayer Nanoporous Graphene Membranes for Precise Organic Solvent Nanofiltration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Alumina growth narrows surface pores and seals non‐selective defects, enhancing selectivity while preserving the nanoporous graphene architecture. Additionally, the deposition enables gradient‐controlled structural modification, with intergrown alumina acting as a physical cross‐linker that stabilizes the laminar structure.

Porous Iridium Oxide Inverse Opal Catalysts Enable Efficient PEM Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Porous iridium‐based inverse opal (IrOx‐IO) structures are introduced as high‐performance, unsupported PEM‐WE anode catalysts. Their electrochemical behavior is analyzed through porosity/surface area tuning, voltage breakdown, and circuit modeling.

Millisecond‐Switching Dual‐Band/Dual‐Polarization Ka‐Band Wavefront Control Enabled by a Complementary Liquid‐Crystal Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An LCD‐compatible complementary liquid‐crystal metasurface delivers dual‐band, dual‐polarized Ka‐band wavefront control with millisecond switching via a 10‐µm LC gap. Interlaced patch/slot pairs enable independent phase tuning at 28 and 38 GHz, while strategic 45° slot rotation suppresses parasitic resonances. Measurements on a 160 × 160‐cell prototype

Analysis of Horn Antennas in Receiving Mode as an EM Field Sensor

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2012
Electromagnetic (EM) field measurement uses antenna in receiving mode as EM field sensor (EMFS). FDTD technique is applied to analyze the horn antenna in this mode.

2.4 GHz Horn Antenna

open access: yesTransactions on Maritime Science, 2015
This paper describes the building and testing of a 2.4 GHz antenna which can be used for WLAN as well as for other purposes. The antenna was built to have highest gain at 2.4 GHz although it can be used from frequency of 1.7 GHz up to 2.6 GHz. The paper also describes the calculation of the antenna parameters and dimensions as well as the measurements ...

Design and Fabrication of High Dielectric GRIN Lens for a Directive Antenna Using a Hybrid Filled Voxel Additive Manufacturing Technique

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Hybrid‐filled voxel AM enables integration of high‐permittivity materials into additively manufactured devices. Using this approach, a graded refractive index (GRIN) lens is demonstrated, achieving a 50% antenna size reduction with enhanced directivity.
