Label‐Free Single‐Molecule Immunoassay

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Label‐free single‐molecule immunoassay (LFSMiA) enables ultra‐sensitive and wide dynamic range protein detection in whole blood samples. LFSMiA features real‐time single‐molecule imaging by plasmonic scattering microscopy, background reduction by a 2‐step sandwich assay, minimizing matrix effect by dynamic tracking of single binding events, and ...

Monitoring the Dynamics of Alzheimer's Disease Biomarkers and the APOE–Tau Axis via Human Cerebral Organoids with Immuno‐SERS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Noninvasive and sensitive detection of tau protein dynamics across developmental stages and APOE genotypes remain a challenge in Alzheimer's disease (AD) research. This study reveals the dynamics of tau secretion in label‐free manner using surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and human cerebral organoids (hCOs). This study provides novel insights

Biomechanical Characterization of Preparation for Airs above the Ground: A Mixed Approach

open access: yesAnimals
Equitation in the French tradition is a school of riding that emphasizes harmonious relations between humans and horses. The best-known community is the Cadre Noir of Saumur, whose specialty is the air above the ground (AAG).

Untying Surface Chemistry and Emulsion Stability to Construct Multifunctional Pickering Emulsion SERS Sensors for Pretreatment‐Free Quantitative Analysis in Bio‐Media

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐particle interfacial self‐assembly approach is used to create surface‐accessible Pickering emulsions with Au@Prussian blue nanoparticles acting as the functional component. These emulsions have strong plasmonic properties and are equipped with molecular sieves and internal standards.

Heart rate variability in Konik and purebred Arabian horses in response to different predator vocalisations

open access: yesAnimal, 2021
The current predation threat of domestic horses is generally low, and horses do not know predators' frightening cues. We studied whether horses still recognise predation threats.
