Carbon Quantum Dots Assisted Virus Tracking: From Skin to Brain
A novel carbon quantum dots‐dissolvable microneedle, CQDs‐dMN system, enables painless delivery and real‐time tracking of HSV‐1. The HSV‐1 is labeled with fluorescent CQDs and delivered to the skin dermis, minimizing damage compared to traditional methods.

The “Chestnuts” of the Horse [PDF]
THESE structures are well known and have been variously interpreted. But I believe that a suggestion as to their nature which I shall now put forward has not yet been made. Some months since I called attention in this Journal (vol. lxii. p. 523) to the general prevalence among mammals that use their fore limbs as grasping or climbing organs—in fact, in

The integration of ferrofluid consisting of citrated iron oxide nanoparticles into muscle cell‐laden ink to obtain magnetic‐responsive muscle tissue (i.e., ferromuscle) allows not only an easy printability process to integrate magnetic components in 3D printed tissues, but also impacts positively in terms of tissue differentiation and increased force ...

Sympathetic nerve innervation promotes the progression of Epstein‐Barr virus‐positive diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (EBV+ DLBCL) via β2‐adrenergic receptors. The discovery of enhanced nerve infiltration and β2AR expression reveals a novel mechanism and highlights the sympathetic–β2AR axis as a promising target for therapeutic intervention in EBV+ DLBCL.

Mechanical Forces Guide Axon Growth through the Nigrostriatal Pathway in an Organotypic Model
Nano‐pulling is a magnetic nanoparticle‐based technology for guiding and promoting the axon growth of induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived dopaminergic neurospheres in vitro or neural progenitors transplanted in the brain tissue. Fine control of axon guidance is essential for reconstructing neural networks and restoring functional connectivity in the ...

Through a comprehensive multi‐omics analysis, this study identifies a marked reduction in Nephronectin (NPNT) expression within fibrotic lung tissue. This reduction impairs the binding capability to the ITGA3 receptor, consequently causing YAP1 to persist in the cytoplasm, where it undergoes degradation.

Potent Cross‐neutralizing Antibodies Reveal Vulnerabilities of Henipavirus Fusion Glycoprotein
Hendra and Nipah viruses (HNVs) pose significant threats to global health. This work reports potent cross‐neutralizing antibodies targeting the fusion glycoprotein (F) and reveals shared features of these antibodies and vulnerabilities of F, thereby guiding the rational design of countermeasures against HNVs and similar pathogens.

TBX3 and ASIP genotypes reveal discrepancies in officially recorded coat colors of Hucul horses
Although only a few specific pigmentation types are allowed within the Hucul horse registry, accurate determination of particular coat colors can be uncertain due to the presence of variation in color shades and segregation of multiple dun dilution ...

Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) employs a cap‐independent (CI) translation strategy to evade host translational shutoff. During the shut‐off of host cellular canonical translation, DEAD‐box protein 3 (DDX3) bind to JEV UTRs to establish a closed‐loop architecture, and its interaction with poly(A)‐binding protein 1 (PABP1) to form DDX3/PABP1/eIF4G ...
