Laser structuring of biocompatible polymers creates precise surface patterns that influence cell organization. By imaging, contact angle measurements, and chemical analysis, this study demonstrates the ability of laser‐induced micro‐structured surfaces to guide muscle cell alignment. These findings support laser patterning of biopolymers as a promising

The nature of the infectious agents: PrP models of resistant species to prion diseases (dog, rabbit and horses) [PDF]
Prion diseases are invariably fatal and highly infectious neurodegenerative diseases affecting humans and animals. By now there have not been some effective therapeutic approaches to treat all these prion diseases. In 2008, canine mammals including dogs (canis familials) were the first time academically reported to be resistant to prion diseases ...

hSMAL: Detailed Horse Shape and Pose Reconstruction for Motion Pattern Recognition [PDF]
In this paper we present our preliminary work on model-based behavioral analysis of horse motion. Our approach is based on the SMAL model, a 3D articulated statistical model of animal shape. We define a novel SMAL model for horses based on a new template, skeleton and shape space learned from $37$ horse toys.

Accelerated Bone Healing via Electrical Stimulation
Electrical stimulation significantly impacts bone healing by enhancing osteoblast proliferation, differentiation, and vascularization through calmodulin/calcineurin/NFAT signaling. It also boosts macrophage function and cell migration, presenting a comprehensive approach to accelerating bone repair.

Targeting miRNA‐1a and miRNA‐15b: A Novel Combinatorial Strategy to Drive Adult Cardiac Regeneration
The article explores a novel therapeutic strategy for cardiac regeneration by targeting miRNA‐1a and miRNA‐15b. Combinatorial inhibition of miR‐1a and miR‐15b enhances cardiomyocyte proliferation, improves heart function, and reduces fibrosis in myocardial infarction models.

This study has identified lncRNA‐MEG3 as a key regulator of muscle mass, promoting slow‐twitch muscle fibers and preventing muscle atrophy. By stabilizing the SUZ12/PRC2 complex through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), lncRNA‐MEG3 influences mitochondrial function and lipid metabolism.

Conformational Transitions in Molecular Systems [PDF]
Proteins are the "work horses" in biological systems. In almost all functions specific proteins are involved. They control molecular transport processes, stabilize the cell structure, enzymatically catalyze chemical reactions; others act as molecular motors in the complex machinery of molecular synthetization processes.
