A theranostic nanoplatform is formulated with NIR‐II emissive lipophilic cyanine dye IRC18 to intercalate into genetically engineered IL12/CSF1R‐macrophage membrane‐liposome hybrid nanovesicles, which assists to achieve blood–brain barrier crossing, glioblastoma targeting, NIR‐II fluorescence imaging, image‐guided membrane‐targeted mild photothermal ...

Vertical movement symmetry of the withers in horses with induced forelimb and hindlimb lameness at trot [PDF]
Background The main criteria for lameness assessment in horses are head movement for forelimb lameness and pelvic movement for hindlimb lameness. However, compensatory head nod in horses with primary hindlimb lameness is a well‐known phenomenon.

Mutations in MITF and PAX3 Cause “Splashed White” and Other White Spotting Phenotypes in Horses
During fetal development neural-crest-derived melanoblasts migrate across the entire body surface and differentiate into melanocytes, the pigment-producing cells. Alterations in this precisely regulated process can lead to white spotting patterns.

Mechanical Forces Guide Axon Growth through the Nigrostriatal Pathway in an Organotypic Model
Nano‐pulling is a magnetic nanoparticle‐based technology for guiding and promoting the axon growth of induced pluripotent stem cell‐derived dopaminergic neurospheres in vitro or neural progenitors transplanted in the brain tissue. Fine control of axon guidance is essential for reconstructing neural networks and restoring functional connectivity in the ...

Dipyridamole Acts as Clinical Ferroptosis Inhibitor to Prevent from Tissue Injury
Dipyridamole acts as a clinically used compound to suppress ferroptosis. Dipyridamole down‐regulates the expression of RNF126, which is an E3 ligase to ubiquitinate SLC7A11 for proteasome degradation. The deficiency of SLC7A11 largely abolishes the protective role of dipyridamole both in vitro and in vivo.

A retinoscopic survey of 333 horses and ponies in the UK [PDF]
Introduction: Ophthalmic examination in the horse is generally limited to crude assessment of vision and screening for ocular lesions. The refractive state of equine eyes and the potential impact on vision and performance requires further ...
