Malignancy in Horseshoe Kidney
Southern Medical Journal, 1988We have reported two cases of adenocarcinoma in a horseshoe kidney and their successful surgical treatment. Review of the literature suggests that transitional cell carcinoma and Wilms' tumor are seen more often than adenocarcinoma in horseshoe kidneys.

Oncocytoma in a Horseshoe Kidney
Journal of Urology, 1986Renal oncocytoma is an unusual tumor that has been identified with increasing frequency during the last decade, and more than 150 cases have been reported in the literature, including multifocal and bilateral tumors. We report a case of oncocytoma in a horseshoe kidney. Oncocytoma and tumors in horseshoe kidneys are discussed.

Renal tumors are uncommon, but they are significantly increased in horseshoe kidneys. Although nephroblastomas frequently occur in horseshoe kidneys of children, no teratoma has been observed in the past. A teratoma in the horseshoe kidney of a child with unusual congenital anomalies is described.
