On the Palindromic Hosoya Polynomial of Trees

open access: yesMATCH Communications in Mathematical and in Computer Chemistry, 2022
A graph $G$ on $n$ vertices of diameter $D$ is called $H$-palindromic if $ (G,k) = (G,D-k)$ for all $k=0, 1, \dots, \left \lfloor{\frac{D}{2}}\right \rfloor$, where $ (G,k)$ is the number of unordered pairs of vertices at distance $k$. Quantities $ (G,k)$ form coefficients of the Hosoya polynomial.

Computing the Hosoya Polynomial of M-th Level Wheel and Its Subdivision Graph

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2021
The determination of Hosoya polynomial is the latest scheme, and it provides an excellent and superior role in finding the Weiner and hyper-Wiener index. The application of Weiner index ranges from the introduction of the concept of information theoretic

A New Graphical Representation of the Old Algebraic Structure

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
The most recent advancements in algebra and graph theory enable us to ask a straightforward question: what practical use does this graph connected with a mathematical system have in the real world? With the use of algebraic approaches, we may now tackle a wide range of graph theory‐related problems.

Topological Indices of Total Graph and Zero Divisor Graph of Commutative Ring: A Polynomial Approach

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
The algebraic polynomial plays a significant role in mathematical chemistry to compute the exact expressions of distance‐based, degree‐distance‐based, and degree‐based topological indices. The topological index is utilized as a significant tool in the study of the quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) and quantitative structures property ...

Terminal Hosoya Polynomial of Line Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Discrete Mathematics, 2013
The terminal Hosoya polynomial of a graph G is defined as TH(G,λ)=∑k≥1‍dT(G,k)λk, where dT(G,k) is the number of pairs of pendant vertices of G that are at distance k. In this paper we obtain terminal Hosoya polynomial of line graphs.

Computing the Entropy Measures for the Line Graphs of Some Chemical Networks

open access: yesComputational Intelligence and Neuroscience, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Chemical Graph entropy plays a significant role to measure the complexity of chemical structures. It has explicit chemical uses in chemistry, biology, and information sciences. A molecular structure of a compound consists of many atoms. Especially, the hydrocarbons is a chemical compound that consists of carbon and hydrogen atoms.
