Development of nurses’ core competencies by head nurses in general hospitals, southern Thailand
Objective: To examine the level of practice employed by head nurses in the development of their nurses' core competencies in both accredited and non-accredited general hospitals in Southern Thailand, and then to compare the two groups.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

It has made a study of the incidence of alcoholism in the Police Hospital , through a period of 20 years ( 1944-1964 ) , reviewing medical records of 7819 Psychiatrist Department . There were found 278 individuals (3.5 percent) that corresponded to the diagnosis of the different forms of alcoholism.
