The novel lysergamide 1‐(furan‐2‐carbonyl)‐LSD (1F‐LSD) was analytically characterized. 1F‐LSD showed LSD‐like activity in vivo similar to 1‐(thiophene‐2‐carbonyl)‐LSD (1T‐LSD) used for comparison. Administration studies in mice and LC–MS analysis revealed that 1F‐LSD served as a prodrug.

Infant Death due to Cannabis Ingestion
ABSTRACT A child died in the emergency room of a local hospital a few hours after ingesting a substance the color of cork and the consistency of earth. At home, a modest amount of resinous substance was found. At the hospital, the child exhibited alterations in walking, balance, and consciousness.

ABSTRACT Objective This study examined the impact of the COVID‐19 pandemic on incidence rates of anorexia nervosa (AN) and bulimia nervosa (BN) in Dutch primary care by comparing pre‐pandemic (2015–2019) and in‐pandemic (2020–2022) periods. We hypothesized that the incidence of AN and BN would increase during the pandemic.
