Bean weevil biology in different hosts
The Mexican bean weevil Zabrotes subfasciatus feeds on several Fabaceae species, such as lima bean, common beans, peas, and cowpeas. The aim of this study was to investigate possible changes in biological parameters of Z. subfasciatus when submitted to hosts Vigna unguiculata (cowpea), Phaseolus vulgaris (common bean) and Phaseolus lunatus (lima bean).

Day/night variations of myeloid and lymphoid cell subsets in the murine inguinal lymph node
The circadian system is involved in the temporal regulation of the immune system. Our study reveals that two innate immune populations, NKT cells and neutrophils, predominate at the beginning of the day in healthy mice, highlighting how the time of day influences immune responses.

We established a spheroid coculture system enabling viable Porphyromonas gingivalis–HNSCC interactions under normoxic conditions. Inhibition of LATS1/2 maintains tumor cells in an undifferentiated state, which may promote spheroid growth and create a more permissive environment for bacterial persistence.
