Hot Deformation Behavior of Superalloy 718
ABSTRACT The hot deformation behavior of Alloy 718 was characterized on the basis of the dynamic materials model and compression data in the temperature range of 900 to 1177°C and strain rate range of 0.005 to 5s’. The flow curves at all temperatures and strain rates showed little dependence on strains larger than 0.3.

Study of Hot Deformation Behavior of CUFE2 Alloy
Nil strength temperature of 1062°C and nil ductility temperature of 1040°C were experimentally set for CuFe2 alloy. The highest formability at approx. 1020°C is unusable due to massive grain coarsening. The local minimum of ductility around the temperature 910°C is probably due to minor formation of γ-iron.
