Evolution of injection-induced rock damage along fractures under thermo-hydro-mechanical coupling
Hot dry rock (HDR) reservoirs heat is extracted by injecting cold water into natural or hydraulic fractures. During injection, the rock around the fractures experiences repeated cooling and pressurization.
