Expressing Bayesian Fusion as a Product of Distributions: Application to Randomized Hough Transform [PDF]
Data fusion is a common issue of mobile robotics, computer assisted medical diagnosis or behavioral control of simulated character for instance. However data sources are often noisy, opinion for experts are not known with absolute precision, and motor ...

When using the original slope-intercept parameterisation for the Hough transform, the resulting parameter space actually corresponds to the dual space. Indeed, lines are transformed into points, and for every point there is also a corresponding line.

An efficient algorithm for line extraction from laser scans [PDF]
In this paper, an algorithm for extracting line segments from information gathered by a laser rangefinder is presented. The range scan is processed to compute a parameter that is invariant to the position and orientation of straight lines present.

Improving the Hough Transform gathering process for affine transformations
In this paper, we show that significant wrong evidence can be generated when the Hough Transform (HT) is used to extract arbitrary shapes under rigid transformations.

Circular Degree Hough Transform [PDF]
The Circular Hough Transform (CHT) is probably the most widely used technique for detecting circular shapes within an image. This paper presents a novel variation of CHT which we call the Circular Degree Hough Transform (CDHT). The CDHT showed better performance than CHT for a number of experiments (eye localization, crater detection, etc.) included in
