ABSTRACT Background Identifying predictive and monitoring biomarkers for allergen immunotherapy response is crucial for enhancing clinical efficacy. This study aims to investigate the systemic and local levels of immunoglobulins and identify potential biomarkers in house dust mite (HDM) allergic rhinitis (AR) patients who are undergoing subcutaneous ...

ABSTRACT Background Multiple routes of allergen immunotherapy (AIT) are approved for several IgE‐mediated allergic diseases; however, the use of AIT in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) remains controversial and is supported by limited evidence. Critical role of keratinocytes and protease‐activated receptor 2 in secondary lymphedema development
Activated keratinocytes play an important role in the early stage of the pathophysiology of secondary lymphedema through PAR2 signaling. Lymphatic injury‐induced protease activation stimulates keratinocyte PAR2 signaling, driving hyperkeratosis and Th2 inflammation, which can be therapeutically attenuated by teriflunomide. Abstract Background Secondary
