Voice of Asia: Provision of Patient‐Centered Care in Oral Cavity Cancer: A Qualitative Study With Patients, Caregivers, and Healthcare Professionals in Five Asia‐Pacific Regions

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Clinical Oncology, EarlyView.
The study identified key barriers to optimal patient‐centered care, including delayed diagnosis due to awareness and stigma‐related barriers among patients and caregivers, and opportunities to enhance multidisciplinary coordination. Accuracy of human papillomavirus testing in detecting persistent or recurrent disease at follow‐up after conization

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Using HPV testing and margin status alone as predictors of CIN1+ persistence/recurrence is as effective as the standard co‐test. This highlights the significance of HPV status compared to the co‐test post‐conization and indicates that HPV testing alone could be an effective follow‐up strategy for women with negative margins.

Liminal Bioethics for Liminal Statuses: A New Method for Analysing Novel Biological Entities

open access: yesBioethics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Novel biological entities such as cell lines and organoids do not typically fit into established conceptual categories, such as ‘human’ or ‘nonhuman’, ‘gift’ or ‘property’. This makes developing robust ethical principles or policy solutions difficult.

Novel drugs approved by the EMA, the FDA and the MHRA in 2025: A year in review

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract In the 2025 novel drug mini‐review, one can take a full measure of the ingenuity that underlies current drug design and development, despite the year's smaller harvest (46 novel drugs) compared to 2024 (53) and 2023 (70). 54% of the novel drugs are first‐in‐class (FIC).
