The Prognostic Role of C‐Reactive Protein–Triglyceride Glucose Index in Predicting Unfavorable Outcomes in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Large‐Scale Cohort Study

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The C‐reactive protein–triglyceride glucose index (CTI) has been established as a novel biomarker reflecting insulin resistance and systemic inflammation. However, its association with unfavorable outcomes in acute ischemic stroke (AIS), especially when patients are stratified by glycemic status, remains unclear.

Mesalazine‐Induced Myocarditis: A Challenging Diagnostic Journey

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
Cardiac MRI imaging showing patterns consistent with acute myocarditis. ABSTRACT Mesalazine‐induced myocarditis, though rare, should be suspected in patients presenting with acute chest pain and elevated cardiac biomarkers shortly after treatment initiation. Cardiac MRI plays a pivotal role in diagnosis. Prompt drug discontinuation often leads to rapid

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
Flow chart of patient journey from initial presentation (2021) till current clinical management (2025). ABSTRACT Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Adjunctive Mediterranean Diet in a Middle‐Aged Male With Autoimmune Encephalitis and Generalized Tonic–Clonic Seizures: A Longitudinal Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We describe a 45‐year‐old male with autoimmune encephalitis and recurrent tonic–clonic seizures. In addition to receiving standard immunotherapy, he adopted a Mediterranean diet as adjunctive therapy. Six months later, brain MRI showed resolution of the hippocampal hyperintensities and a reduction in periventricular white matter changes; EEG ...

Associations of the C‐Reactive Protein−Albumin−Lymphocyte Index, Red Cell Distribution Width−Albumin Ratio, and Blood Urea Nitrogen−Albumin Ratio With All‐Cause and Cardiovascular Mortality Among Adults With Preclinical Heart Failure

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 7, July 2026.
In adults with preclinical heart failure from NHANES, higher ln CALLY was associated with lower all‐cause and cardiovascular mortality, whereas higher ln RAR and ln BAR were associated with higher mortality. Among these indices, ln RAR showed the most consistent exploratory incremental predictive performance beyond the base model.
