Exact Transformation for Spin-Charge Separation of Spin-half Fermions without Constraints

open access: yes, 2006
We demonstrate an exact local transformation which maps a purely Fermionic manybody system to a system of spinfull Bosons and spinless Fermions, demonstrating a possible path to a non-Fermi liquid state. We apply this to the half-filled Hubbard model and

Superconductivity in the Repulsive Hubbard Model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism, 2010
The two-dimensional repulsive Hubbard model has been investigated by a variety of methods, from small to large U. Superconductivity with d-wave symmetry is consistently found close to half filling. After a brief review of the various methods a variational many-electron state is discussed in more detail.

Interlayer‐Sliding‐Enabled Multiferroicity and Giant Switchable Anomalous Hall Conductivity in RuO2Zn2F2 Bilayer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Interlayer sliding in the RuO2Zn2F2 bilayer induces ferroelectricity and enables reversible valley polarization switching. The electric dipole and valley‐resolved band edges are intimately coupled, revealing sliding ferroelectricity as a powerful mechanism for electrical control of valley degrees of freedom in 2D materials.

Electronic spectrum and superconductivity in Hubbard model

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2008
A microscopic theory of electronic spectrum and superconducting pairing within the Hubbard model is formulated. The Dyson equation for the normal and anomalous Green functions in terms of the Hubbard operators is derived by applying the Mori-type ...

Pair correlations in the attractive Hubbard model

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
The mechanism of fermionic pairing is the key to understanding various phenomena such as high-temperature superconductivity and the pseudogap phase in cuprate materials.

Control of the finite size corrections in exact diagonalization studies

open access: yes, 1995
We study the possibility of controlling the finite size corrections in exact diagonalization studies quantitatively. We consider the one- and two dimensional Hubbard model.

The Third‐Generation Magnetic Super‐Stable Mineralizer: Complete Removal and Separation of Multiple Heavy Metal Pollutants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The 3rd‐generation magnetic super‐stable mineralizer M‐MgAl‐700 features a core‐shell structure, strong superparamagnetism, large surface area, and abundant oxygen defects. It achieves exceptional Cd(II) and As(V) mineralization capacities, reducing both pollutants in co‐contaminated water and soil to meet national standards.

Exact Ground States for Quasi 1D Systems with Hubbard Interaction [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2012
Using a positive semidefinite operator technique we deduced exact ground states for a modified diamond chain described by a non-integrable Hubbard model with on-site repulsion.

Zero Modes and Global Antiferromagnetism in Strained Graphene

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2014
A novel magnetic ground state is reported for the Hubbard Hamiltonian in strained graphene. When the chemical potential lies close to the Dirac point, the ground state exhibits locally both the Néel and ferromagnetic orders, even for weak Hubbard ...

Antiferromagnetic fluctuations in the one-dimensional Hubbard model

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2020
We study the low-temperature critical behavior of the one-dimensional Hubbard model near half filling caused by enhanced antiferromagnetic fluctuations.
