The JWST UNCOVER Treasury Survey: Ultradeep NIRSpec and NIRCam Observations before the Epoch of Reionization

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
In this paper we describe the survey design for the Ultradeep NIRSpec and NIRCam Observations before the Epoch of Reionization (UNCOVER) Cycle 1 JWST Treasury program, which executed its early imaging component in 2022 November.

Photometric Redshifts in the Hubble Deep Field

open access: yes, 1996
Photometric redshifts for galaxies in the Hubble Deep Field are measured. Luminosity functions show steepening of the faint-end slope and mild brightening of M* out to z~3, followed by a decline at higher z; an excess of faint, star-forming galaxies is seen at low z.

Deep Hubble Space Telescope Photometry of Large Magellanic Cloud and Milky Way Ultrafaint Dwarfs: A Careful Look into the Magnitude–Size Relation

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We present deep Hubble Space Telescope photometry of 10 targets from Treasury Program GO-14734, including six confirmed ultrafaint dwarf (UFD) galaxies, three UFD candidates, and one likely globular cluster.

The Star Formation History of Nearby Galaxies: A Machine Learning Approach

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Reproducing color–magnitude diagrams (CMDs) of star-resolved galaxies is one of the most precise methods for measuring the star formation history (SFH) of nearby galaxies back to the earliest time.
