High Redshift Galaxies in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field [PDF]
My dissertation presents results from three recent investigations in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF) focusing on understanding structural and physical properties of high redshift galaxies. Here I summarize results from these studies. This thesis work was conducted at Arizona State University under the guidance of Prof.

ALMA SPECTROSCOPIC SURVEY IN THE HUBBLE ULTRA DEEP FIELD: SURVEY DESCRIPTION [PDF]
ABSTRACT We present the rationale for and the observational description of ASPECS: the ALMA SPECtroscopic Survey in the Hubble Ultra-Deep Field (UDF), the cosmological deep field that has the deepest multi-wavelength data available. Our overarching goal is to obtain an unbiased census of molecular gas and dust continuum emission in high ...

The MUSEHubbleUltra Deep Field Survey [PDF]
We investigate the specific angular momentum (sAM)j(<r) profiles of intermediate redshift (0.4 < z < 1.4) star-forming galaxies (SFGs) in the relatively unexplored regime of low masses (down toM⋆ ∼ 108 M⊙) and small sizes (down toRe ∼ 1.5 kpc), and we characterize the sAM scaling relation (i.e., Fall relation) and its redshift evolution.

Star Formation History of the Hubble Ultra Deep Field: Comparison with the Hubble Deep Field–North [PDF]
We use the NICMOS Treasury and ACS HUDF images to measure the extinction-corrected star formation history for 4681 galaxies in the region common to both images using the star formation rate distribution function and other techniques similar to those employed with the NICMOS and WFPC2 images in the HDFN.

MOVING OBJECTS IN THE HUBBLE ULTRA DEEP FIELD
We identify proper motion objects in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (UDF) using the optical data from the original UDF program in 2004 and the near-infrared data from the 128-orbit UDF 2012 campaign. There are 12 sources brighter than I=27 mag that display >3sigma significant proper motions.

THE 2012 HUBBLE ULTRA DEEP FIELD (UDF12): OBSERVATIONAL OVERVIEW [PDF]
We present the 2012 Hubble Ultra Deep Field campaign (UDF12), a large 128-orbit Cycle 19 \HST\ program aimed at extending previous WFC3/IR observations of the UDF by quadrupling the exposure time in the F105W filter, imaging in an additional F140W filter, and extending the F160W exposure time by 50%.

The missing light of theHubbleUltra Deep Field [PDF]
Context. TheHubbleUltra Deep field (HUDF) is the deepest region ever observed with theHubbleSpace Telescope. With the main objective of unveiling the nature of galaxies up toz ∼ 7 − 8, the observing and reduction strategy have focused on the properties of small and unresolved objects, rather than the outskirts of the largest objects, which are usually ...

Ozone Production by Electron Irradiation of Regolith Ice: Laboratory Study for the Icy Moons
Abstract We irradiate fine‐grained regolith pure water ice in ultra high vacuum with 5keV $5\,\text{keV}$ and 10keV $10\,\text{keV}$ electrons to study the radiolysis of water ice. The ice regolith is designed to closely mimic the physical characteristics of the surfaces of the icy moons of the Solar System.
