On a Class of human development index measures [PDF]
Using Minkowski distance function we propose a class of Human Development Index measures. Special cases of this turn out to be the popularly used linear average method as also a newly proposed displaced ideal method. Two measures of penalty are suggested.

Revised Human Development Index
, 2017 This paper is a case study of HDI where the ASEAN countries were used as the subject of analysis and the OECD countries were used as a comparison group. We propose to revise the current human development index. HDI employs three components to measure human development, namely life expectancy, education and the standard of living.

Many class I proteins are regulated by environmental signals via their PAS domains, but such signals have not been identified for all.
