Decreased Serum 5‐HT: Clinical Correlates and Regulatory Role in NMJ of MG
ABSTRACT Objective Although 5‐Hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT) indirectly stimulates muscle contraction and participates in regulating Acetylcholine receptor (AChR) cluster homeostasis in cellular, animal, and clinical studies, evidence regarding its potential to modulate muscle contraction in myasthenia gravis (MG) remains limited.

Human Influenza Resulting from Aerosol Inhalation
SummaryVolunteers were given A2 influenza virus in a small-particle aerosol. Infection and typical influenza resulted from low doses of virus administered in this manner. Low levels of serum neutralizing antibody were not completely effective in preventing infection and illness.

ABSTRACT Mutations in myelin regulatory factor (MYRF) are linked to demyelinating disorders. We report a 38‐year‐old male who developed acute symmetric leukoencephalopathy mimicking a stroke following an influenza A virus infection. While clinical symptoms markedly improved with corticosteroids, MRI revealed persistent white matter lesions, contrasting

Application of a periodic table for the genetic code to influenza A/H3N2 virus [PDF]
If biologists can utilize a table to have access to biological phenomena in the manner analogous to the periodic table for chemical elements, they may get hold of a directing post in life science.

An idea of designing novel sensors is proposed by creating appropriate Schottky barriers and vacancies between isomorphous Core‐CuOii/ Shell‐CuOi secondary microspheres and enhancing catalytic and spill‐over effects, and electronegativity via spontaneous biphasic separation, self‐assembly, and trace‐Ni‐doping.

Oseltamivir in human avian influenza infection [PDF]
Avian influenza A viruses continue to cause disease outbreaks in humans, and extrapulmonary infection is characteristic. In vitro studies demonstrate the activity of oseltamivir against avian viruses of the H5, H7 and H9 subtypes. In animal models of lethal infection, oseltamivir treatment and prophylaxis limit viral replication and improve survival ...

FeDSNP‐Pa, a metallized nanoparticle loaded with sodium pyruvate (Pa), exerts triple therapeutic effects by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS), suppressing inflammatory responses, and inhibiting pyroptosis signaling pathways. This multifunctional neuroprotective strategy protecting retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) from elevated intraocular pressure ...
