Carbon‐Coated Probiotics Restore Intestinal Homeostasis to Promote Damage Repair in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Carbon‐coated Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (C dots@LGG) enhances the antioxidant effects of LGG and safeguards the probiotics to target the inflamed colon. This reduces inflammation and oxidative damage, repairs the intestinal barrier, regulates the microbiota, and alleviates colitis.

Biodegradable Poly(butylene adipate‐co‐terephthalate)/Poly(lactic) Acid Mulch Film with Soy Waste Filler for Improved Biodegradation and Plant Growth

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
The study finds that mulch films made with poly(butylene adipate‐co‐terephthalate)/poly(lactic acid) and 10% soy waste degrade faster than those without soy. Plants grown with the soy‐containing films are 49% taller, suggesting that the soy acts as a biostimulant.

Multiple Sampling Capsule Robot for Studying Gut Microbiome

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A multiple sampling capsule robot (MSCR) is developed for longitudinal gut microbiome analysis. Employing electromagnetic field control, the MSCR can locomote actively, precisely align the selected channel, and collect up to six microbiome samples with minimal cross‐contamination.

Microbiota and mucosal gene expression of fecal microbiota transplantation or placebo treated patients with chronic pouchitis

open access: yesGut Microbes
Altered microbiota and impaired host immune function have been linked to the pathogenesis of pouchitis. We used 16S rRNA gene sequencing and RNA sequencing data from a previous randomized clinical trial (RCT) on fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT ...

Mycosis Fungoides, Sézary Syndrome, and Cutaneous B‐Cell Lymphomas: 2025 Update on Diagnosis, Risk‐Stratification, and Management

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Disease Overview Primary cutaneous lymphomas are a rare and heterogeneous group of extranodal lymphomas that require the integration of clinical and histopathologic data for classification and treatment. Diagnosis Diagnosis and disease classification is based on histopathologic review and immunohistochemical staining of an appropriate skin ...

Association Between Moraxella catarrhalis and Nodular Lymphocyte‐Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Nodular lymphocyte‐predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma (NLPHL) may be an antigen‐driven malignancy. Recent studies demonstrated that in NLPHL patients, lymphoma B‐cell receptor can bind proteins derived from Moraxella catarrhalis (MC) and Rothia mucilaginosa (RM). We examined whether MC and RM can be detected in NLPHL lymph nodes.
