Real-time human motion capturing system
IEEE International Conference on Image Processing 2005, 2005This paper presents a real time vision-based human motion capturing and recognition system using two calibrated CCD cameras. We propose a simple but effective method to estimate the motion parameters (BAPs) of the human object by analyzing the vertical projection profile and the horizontal projection profile in each view to identify different arm and ...

Markless Human Motion Capture by Voxel Labeling
2009 Fifth International Conference on Image and Graphics, 2009We address the issue of markless human motion capture by voxel labeling. We explore the problem of pose estimation from voxel cloud based on a predefined human model. First, voxels are labeled into different individual parts of the body. Then, the joints are extracted from labeled voxels. Finally, the joint angles are estimated from the joints.

Modeling of human motion through motion captured data
2008 International Symposium on Information Technology, 2008In this project, types of human motion studied in kinematics field are walking and running. The area of interest of the analyzing is lower part of human body segment. A video camera with medium resolution and frame rate is used as an image device to capture the human motion.

Capturing and analyzing of human motion for designing humanoid motion
2005 IEEE International Conference on Information Acquisition, 2006This paper mainly discusses the construction of a human motion capture system and analyzes the captured data of human motion for humanoid motion design. Using the motion capture system, first the data of the actor motion can be obtained by setting markers on the actor's body.

Analysis on Motion Trauma for Human’s Running by Motion Capture
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013Running is a kind of high-repetitive limb movements, which can possibly suffer knee-joint and ankle joint badly. In this paper, the author uses advanced instrument of motion capture to gain the gait data of human’s running motion, then create the curve of motion data tracing the knee-joint and ankle joint guided by the theory of biomechanics and ...

Egocentric human motion capture
The human motion capture (mocap) technology has wide applications, especially in entertainment, sports analysis, and human-computer interactions. Among the motion capture techniques, egocentric motion capture provides a unique perspective from the individual's point of view. Being able to capture human motion in an unconstrained environment, egocentricopenaire +2 more sources
Editing dynamic properties of captured human motion
Proceedings 2000 ICRA. Millennium Conference. IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation. Symposia Proceedings (Cat. No.00CH37065), 2002In contrast to most physically based animation techniques that synthesize human motion from scratch, we take the approach of motion transformation as the underlying paradigm for generating computer animation. In doing so we combine the expressive richness of an input animation sequence with the controllability of space-time optimization to create a ...
