The miscibility of foreign elements in rutile‐type IrO2 and SnO2 is greatly enhanced under high Laplace pressure, where their crystal size is reduced to the nanoscale. This enhancement leads to the successful synthesis of DSA‐composition solid‐solution nanocatalysts with notable durability during the acidic OER in water electrolysis.

An Assisting Contact Electrification Strategy for Achieving Self‐Recoverable Mechanoluminescence
ABSTRACT Self‐recoverable mechanoluminescence (ML) is a unique property of materials that can stably emit light under repeated stress, enabling new applications in smart sensing, displays, and wearable devices. However, self‐recoverable ML is very rare and only observed in a few active phosphors excited by piezoelectricity or contact electrification ...

‘For Me, In My Present State’: Kant on Judgments of Perception and Mere Subjective Validity
Few of Kant’s distinctions have generated as much puzzlement and criticism as the one he draws in the 'Prolegomena' between 'judgments of experience', which he describes as 'objectively' and 'universally' valid, and 'judgments of perception', which he ...

While a variety of image processing studies have been performed to quantify the potential performance of neural network-based models using high-quality still images, relatively few studies seek to apply those models to a real-time operational context ...

In this essay, I discuss David Hume’s reasoning on free will as he presents it in A Treatise of Human Nature and An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding. I proceed by showing how Hume’s compatibilist solution acquires meaning in the light of his sentimentally based science of human nature, which conceives human beings as reasonable, social, and ...

Selective Catalytic Production of Urea: Unravelling the Pairwise Competition on p‐d Alloy Catalysts
Unraveling the complicated competition in urea electrosynthesis, this work investigates asymmetric p‐d alloys. We establish two stage‐specific descriptors, Anchoring Affinity and Coupling Propensity, to elegantly quantify thermodynamic bottlenecks.

A tulajdon és az igazságosság viszonya Hume-nál
Tanulmányomban David Hume tulajdonnal foglalkozó téziseit elemzem, különös tekintettel a John Locke-kal szemben megfogalmazott kritikájára. Amellett érvelek, hogy Hume elmélete nem egyszerűen Locke tételeinek cáfolata akart lenni, hanem az eredeti ...
