Integrated multifunctional humidity sensor

Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 1997
Abstract The construction and characteristics of sorption polymeric relative humidity sensors, sorption SiOx microhumidity sensors and condensation- type (dew-point) sensors are compared. The characteristics of the sensors are examined in a dew-point range from − 80 to + 20 °C.

Fiber-optic sensor for humidity

Optics Letters, 1989
A novel fiber-optic humidity sensor is described. It is based on reversible sorption of water from the ambient atmosphere in a porous thin-film interferometer that sits on the tip of a fiber. The sorbed water changes the refractive index of the thin films and thus the reflectivity of the interferometer; the resulting modulation of the reflected ...

Investigation of conductometric humidity sensors

Talanta, 1997
Sensors for determining humidity in air have been described and investigated. Sensing film of the devices was prepared from polyvinylalcohol and graphitized carbon black disperse phase. The composition, thermal treatment and design of sensing films were investigated and optimized.

Solid-state humidity sensors

Sensors and Actuators, 1981
Abstract The applicability of semiconductor technology to the realization of general-purpose humidity sensors is discussed. Examples of solid-state dew-point sensors are given. Special attention is paid to the construction and properties of integrated capacitive dew-point sensors.

High Temperature Humidity Sensor Calibration

2002
The request of calibration of humidity sensors at high temperature and high relative humidity is quite common in many industrial sectors (food, pharmaceutical, etc.) and in environmental monitoring applications. However, in spite of a widespread traceability need in such measurement conditions, only few calibrations or industrial laboratories are ...
