The transition between the spinel and rock‐salt phases induces irreversible structural changes in disordered LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4, thereby preventing it from fully releasing its electrochemical capacity during charge/discharge cycling. Abstract High‐voltage disordered spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 is a promising cathode material for high power density in lithium‐ion

Who Were the Natufians? A Dental Assessment of their Biological Coherency
The Natufians were complex, semi-sedentary hunter-gatherers who intensively exploited wild plant resources in the southern Levant 12,800 to 10,200 BP. They represent the human culturo-behavioral transition from simple, mobile hunter-gatherers to fully ...

This work introduces a substrate‐independent, reagent‐free plasma strategy that forms radical‐rich interlayers for covalent hydrogel attachment without initiators or crosslinkers. The long‐lived radicals drive in situ gelation, creating robust, cytocompatible hybrid solid–hydrogel constructs across diverse substrates.

Structure‐Guided Engineering of a Cas12i Nuclease Unlocks Near‐PAMless Genome Editing
CRISPR‐Cas nucleases are limited by PAM requirements, restricting genome accessibility. Structure‐guided engineering of the compact Cas12i nuclease SF01 produced three variants with near‐PAMless, enabling efficient editing at diverse 5'‐NNTN‐3' sites. These nucleases expand the editable portion of the human genome more than fourfold, enabling efficient

Hypothèses sur l’origine et la diffusion du complexe rituel du tlacaxipehualiztli
Hypothesis about origins and diffusion of the ritual process of tlacaxipehualiztli. This article tries to document similarities between rituals practised mostly by hunter-gatherers of the North of Middle America and one of the most famous Aztec ritual ...

Coastal hunter-gatherers and social evolution: marginal or central? [PDF]
General accounts of global trends in world prehistory are dominated by narratives of conquest on land: scavenging and hunting of land mammals, migration over land bridges and colonisation of new continents, gathering of plants, domestication, cultivation,

Substituent‐Based Modulation of Self‐Assembly and Immunogenicity of Amphipathic Peptides
This study systematically investigates how positional and subtle changes, such as substituents on the phenyl ring attached to short amphipathic peptides, influence their self‐assembly, fibril morphology, and immunogenic responses. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled peptide‐based biomaterials provide versatile platforms for biomedical uses, featuring customizable ...
