The Tunneling Hybrid Monte-Carlo algorithm

open access: yes, 2007
The hermitian Wilson kernel used in the construction of the domain-wall and overlap Dirac operators has exceptionally small eigenvalues that make it expensive to reach high-quality chiral symmetry for domain-wall fermions, or high precision in the case ...

An Immuno-Genetic Hybrid Algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computers Communications & Control, 2009
The construction of artificial systems by drawing inspiration from natural systems is not a new idea. The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Genetic Algorithms (GAs) are good examples of successful applications of the biological metaphor to the solution of computational problems.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.
