Tailored Crystallization Dynamics for Efficient and Stable DMSO‐Free Tin Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Tin perovskite solar cells are emerging as a sustainable lead‐free alternative in thin film photovoltaics. DMSO‐free processed tin perovskites are gaining interest due to the detrimental effects of DMSO on tin oxidation.

Investigating the effect of adding silver nanoparticles to hybrid crystalline silicon solar cells

open access: yesResults in Optics
Hybrid silicon solar cells are an implementation of solar cells which have a simple fabrication process meanwhile absorbing a wider range of light spectrums compared to common silicon solar cells, although hybrid silicon solar cells have relatively low ...

Neuroinflammation in GAD65 Antibody‐Associated Epilepsy Measured Using [18F]DPA‐714 PET/MRI

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The timing for initiating immunotherapy in patients with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibody‐associated epilepsy is a challenge. We used the translocator protein radioligand [18F]DPA‐714 and PET to evaluate brain microglial activation.

Geometric Optimization and Mechanical Performance Enhancement of Auxetic Structures for High‐Impact Applications Through Fused Deposition Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the mechanical performance of three auxetic structures, identifying a re‐entrant‐star hybrid as the most effective for impact absorption. Finite element simulations and experiments demonstrate significant gains in energy absorption and flexural strength after geometric optimization. This study investigates the mechanical performance

A hybrid breast cancer/mesenchymal stem cell population enhances chemoresistance and metastasis

open access: yesJCI Insight, 2023
Patients with triple-negative breast cancer remain at risk for metastatic disease despite treatment. The acquisition of chemoresistance is a major cause of tumor relapse and death, but the mechanisms are far from understood.

Exploring Microstructure–Physical Property–Corrosion Response Relationship in Intermetallic Compounds of Al‐Cu Bimetallic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Al‐Cu intermetallic compounds (IMCs) have a significant influence on the properties of Al‐Cu bimetallic interfaces formed in compound casting. This article provides a deeper understanding of microstructure, crystallography, thermal properties, hardness, and corrosion response of Al‐Cu IMCs with the goal of facilitating the optimization of the ...

Spontaneous Cell Fusion of Acute Leukemia Cells and Macrophages Observed in Cells with Leukemic Potential

open access: yesNeoplasia: An International Journal for Oncology Research, 2012
Cell fusion plays a well-recognized physiological role during development, while its function during progression is still unclear. Here, we show that acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells spontaneously fused with murine host cells in vivo.

Hybrid Auxetic Architectures: Integrating Curvature‐Driven Design for Enhanced Mechanical Tunability and Structural Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Curvature‐tuned auxetic lattices are designed, fabricated, and mechanically characterized to reveal how geometric curvature governs stretchability, stress redistribution, and Poisson's ratio evolution. Photoelastic experiments visualize stress pathways, while hyperelastic simulations quantify deformation mechanics.
