Orbitally excited and hybrid mesons from the lattice [PDF]
We discuss in general the construction of gauge-invariant non-local meson operators on the lattice. We use such operators to study the $P$- and $D$-wave mesons as well as hybrid mesons in quenched QCD, with quark masses near the strange quark mass.

Exotic $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ mesons in a holographic model of QCD [PDF]
Mesons with quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ cannot be represented as simple quark-antiquark pairs. We explore hybrid configurations in the light meson sector comprising a quark, an antiquark and an excited gluon, studying the properties of such states in

A combined approach to Perrin and Padovan hybrid sequences
Recently, there has been huge interest to a new numeric set, which brings together three numerical systems: complex, hyperbolic and dual numbers, called as hybrid number.

Determining minimum numbers of di-allelic diagnostic markers required to identify introgressions in diploid cross-species hybrid individuals from different types of inter- and backcross populations [PDF]
Cross-species hybridizations have been extensively used to generate animals and plants better suited for draft and food and fiber production since Roman times, and are still important in current agricultural practices with growing uses especially in ...

Numerical Study on Thermo-Hydraulic Performances of Hybrid Nanofluids Flowing through a Corrugated Channel with Metal Foam [PDF]
In this study, a novel design was proposed for enhancing heat transfer in a channel with metal foam, corrugated walls, and hybrid nanofluids. The numerical analysis of hybrid nanofluids (MWCNTs+TiO2) with DW (distillate water) as the base fluid was ...

On Hybrid Hyper k-Pell, k-Pell–Lucas, and Modified k-Pell Numbers
Many different number systems have been the topic of research. One of the recently studied number systems is that of hybrid numbers, which are generalizations of other number systems.

Introduction to Third-Order Jacobsthal and Modified Third-Order Jacobsthal Hybrinomials
The hybrid numbers are generalization of complex, hyperbolic and dual numbers. In this paper, we introduce and study the third-order Jacobsthal and modified third-order Jacobsthal hybrinomials, i.e., polynomials, which are a generalization of the ...

A hybrid MPI-OpenMP scheme for scalable parallel pseudospectral computations for fluid turbulence [PDF]
A hybrid scheme that utilizes MPI for distributed memory parallelism and OpenMP for shared memory parallelism is presented. The work is motivated by the desire to achieve exceptionally high Reynolds numbers in pseudospectral computations of fluid ...

On the Generalized Gaussian Fibonacci Numbers and Horadam Hybrid Numbers: A Unified Approach
In this paper, we consider an approach based on the elementary matrix theory. In other words, we take into account the generalized Gaussian Fibonacci numbers. In this context, we consider a general tridiagonal matrix family.
