On the power of the mesh with hybrid buses

Proceedings of the 1997 International Symposium on Parallel Architectures, Algorithms and Networks (I-SPAN'97), 2002
The main contribution of this work is to fathom the power and flexibility of the Mesh with Hybrid Buses via simulation. We propose two algorithms that perform an O(1) time stepwise simulation of an N-processor dynamic Priority CRCW-PRAM endowed with M memory cells.

Hybrid wireless power transfer

IECON 2017 - 43rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2017
Both magnetic field and electric field can be used for transferring power wirelessly. But the up-to-date researches on wireless power transfer have been either inductive power transfer (magnetic field) or capacitive power transfer (electric field). An improved power transfer mode called hybrid wireless power transfer (HWPT) is proposed and evaluated in

Hybrid magnetics and power applications

2017 11th IEEE International Conference on Compatibility, Power Electronics and Power Engineering (CPE-POWERENG), 2017
A hybrid magnetic approach, merging two different magnetic core properties such as ferrite and iron powder cores, is an effective solution for power converter applications. It can offer similar magnetic properties to that of magnetic powder cores but showing less copper loss than powder cores.

Hybrid power systems

2013 Texas Instruments India Educators' Conference, 2013
Energy can be harvested parasitically from ambient motions such as human movements like footsteps, motion of the automobiles etc., Transducers when subjected to external force convert pressure in to potential. This potential when accumulated can cater the needs of the present day world illuminating many houses, running fans, charging the batteries and ...

Hybrid Modelling and Control of Power Electronics

2003
Switched circuits in power electronics by their nature present hybrid behavior. Such circuits can be described by a set of discrete states with associated continuous dynamics. A control objective, usually regulation of the output in the face of disturbances in the continuous system, is accomplished by choosing among discrete states.

Hybrid Power

2010
Chapter 1 discusses the history of organizational and business consulting psychology (OBCP), and how it is a hybrid specialty composed of multiple sets of traditions. It also covers competencies and outcomes, how the services provided are intended to achieve objectives, typically more than one objective, how science and art are used to design ...

Hybrid Power Systems

2020
The hybrid power systems can efficiently produce energy using an optimal combination of renewable energy generation systems, but in order to continuously sustain the required load demand, a backup energy source is necessary. The proton exchange membrane fuel cell system can be used as a non-polluting solution for the backup energy source, instead of a ...

A hybrid current-power Optimal Power Flow technique

2008 IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting - Conversion and Delivery of Electrical Energy in the 21st Century, 2008
An equivalent current injection (ECI)-based hybrid current-power optimal power flow (OPF) model is proposed in this paper, and the predictor-corrector interior point algorithm (PCIPA) is tailored to fit the OPF for solving nonlinear programming (NLP) problems. The proposed method can further decompose into two subproblems.
