Improving Front-end Performance through Modular Rendering and Adaptive Hydration (MRAH) in React Applications [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Modern web applications increasingly leverage server-side rendering (SSR) to improve initial load times and search engine optimization. However, the subsequent hydration process-where client-side JavaScript attaches interactivity to SSR-delivered HTML-can introduce performance bottlenecks.

Enhanced Mechanical Properties of Injectable Chitosan–Guar Gum Hydrogel Reinforced with Bacterial Cellulose Nanofibers for Tissue Engineering Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents the development and characterization of injectable nanocomposite hydrogels based on N‐succinyl chitosan, oxidized guar gum, and bacterial cellulose nanofibers. Emphasizing enhanced mechanical properties and biocompatibility, the hydrogels exhibit fast gelation, improved structural integrity, and reduced swelling. Their potential for

Active Hydrogen for Electrochemical Ammonia Synthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review provides a comprehensive overview of the active hydrogen (H*) for electrochemical ammonia synthesis with particular attention given to the regulation of H* generation and consumption to suppress the competition of hydrogen evolution reaction and enhance the yield, selectivity, and Faradaic efficiency of ammonia.

Positively and negatively hydrated counterions in molecular dynamics simulations of DNA double helix [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
The DNA double helix is a polyanionic macromolecule that in water solutions is neutralized by metal ions (counterions). The property of the counterions to stabilize the water network (positive hydration) or to make it friable (negative hydration) is important in terms of the physical mechanisms of stabilization of the DNA double helix.

Facet‐Junction Induced Strong Metal Support Interaction for Enhanced Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, a novel facet‐junction strategy is proposed to enhance the strong metal‐support interaction (SMSI) between the loaded Ru atoms and the Co3O4 support. The synthesized structure with the incorporation of Ru doping and the (100)/(111) crystal plane junction has a particular influence on the catalyst's hydrogen evolution reaction (HER ...

3D‐Printed and Recombinant Spider Silk Particle Reinforced Collagen Composite Scaffolds for Soft Tissue Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 15, April 10, 2025.
The newly developed, combined 3D‐extrusion bioprinting process of a collagen ink and a recombinant spider silk precipitation bath with a subsequent potassium phosphate post‐treatment fabricates spider silk particle‐reinforced, fibrillar collagen scaffolds with promising properties for soft tissue engineering.
