Development of 4T1 breast cancer mouse model system for preclinical carbonic anhydrase IX studies
Carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX) is a well‐recognised therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker in cancer. We developed and characterised a robust murine breast cancer model system that is suitable for CAIX studies in vitro and in vivo—it comprises both CAIX‐positive and CAIX‐negative controls and provides a solid platform for the comprehensive ...

(−)-Sparteinium tetrachloridozincate monohydrate
The title ionic compound, (C15H28N2)[ZnCl4]·H2O, is isostructural with the CuII analogue published previously [Lee et al. (2004). Bull. Korean Chem. Soc. 25, 823–828; Jasiewicz et al. (2006). J. Mol. Struct. 794, 311–319]. The [ZnCl4]2− anion is, however,

Abstract The establishment of guidelines and curriculum standards for medical physics residency training is a critical component of setting expectations and competencies for the profession. Since the last publication of these standards, residency training has become integrated into the eligibility criteria for most medical physics certification bodies.

The hydration of vimentin isolated from the cortex of bovine lenses was studied by thermal analysis. Differential scanning calorimetry between -30, and 30 degrees C provided the freezable water content, and thermogravimetric analysis up to 105 degrees C yielded the total water content. The difference between the two gives the nonfreezable water content

Determinants of Self‐Management Behavior in Gout: A Scoping Review
Objective This study aimed to identify modifiable determinants of self‐management behavior in patients with gout. Methods Four databases (Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, and CINAHL) were searched using terms related to gout, self‐management, and determinants of behavior as described in the Theoretical Domains Framework (TDF).

Supramolecular Organization of Nonstoichiometric Drug Hydrates: Dapsone
The observed moisture- and temperature dependent transformations of the dapsone (4,4′-diaminodiphenyl sulfone, DDS) 0. 33-hydrate were correlated to its structure and the number and strength of the water-DDS intermolecular interactions.

Artificial Receptor in Synthetic Cells Performs Transmembrane Activation of Proteolysis
Transmembrane signaling is the hallmark of living cells and is among the highest challenges for the design of synthetic cells. Herein, an artificial receptor based on the chemistry of self‐immolative linkers is used to communicate information across the lipid bilayer, for transmembrane activation of enzymatic activity. Abstract The design of artificial,
