Synthesis of acyloin natural products by Mukaiyama hydration

open access: yesOrganic & Biomolecular Chemistry, 2022
The preparation of Co(ii) and Co(iii) SALPN type catalysts for the Mukaiyama hydration of enones, and their application to the synthesis of acyloin natural products is described. An acyloin rearrangement was key to the success of this approach.

Chloride binding related to hydration products

open access: yesCement and Concrete Research, 2012
This study attempts to correlate the total amount of chloride bound in concrete with the amounts bound by different hydration products. New insights in the quantities of the hydration products formed will be used in order to predict the phase assemblage ...

Modelling of chloride binding related to hydration products in slag-blended cements [PDF]

open access: yesConstruction and Building Materials, 2014
An improved hydration model of slag-blended cements, taking into account new insights, is used to estimate and quantify the hydration products of slag-blended cements. Individual chloride binding isotherms are used to correlate these amounts of hydration

Exploring the influence of cement and cement hydration products on strength and interfacial adhesion in emulsified cold recycled mixture: A molecular dynamics and experimental investigation

open access: yesConstruction and Building Materials, 2023
This study employed experimental methods and molecular dynamics simulations to investigate how cement and its hydration products affect the mechanical strength and interfacial properties of emulsified cold recycled mixtures (ECRM).

Optimization Strategies of Production Parameters to Prevent Hydrate Reformation in Marine Gas Hydrate Production System

SPE/IATMI Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition, 2021
Abstract In recent decades, the development of natural gas hydrates has become a research hotspot of scholars all over the world. However, the decomposed gas and water in marine gas hydrate production system may regenerate gas hydrates due to the low-temperature and high-pressure environment in seafloor.
