Hydration of 2-cyanoethyl ethers of acetylenic alcohols. Alcoholysis of the hydration products
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 19581. The hydration of 2-cyanoethyl ethers of various acetylenic alcohols was carried out. 2. The resulting 2-cyanoethyl ethers of α-hydroxy ketones were converted into the corresponding 2-(methoxycarbonyl) ethyl ethers.

Characterization of hydration products of mineral trioxide aggregate
International Endodontic Journal, 2008AbstractObjective To characterize the hydration products of white mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA).Methodology Mineral trioxide aggregate, white Portland cement and bismuth oxide were evaluated using X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and Rietveld XRD. The cements were tested un‐hydrated and after hydration and curing for 30 days at 37 °C.

The Influence of Amylopectin on the Hydration Products of Cement
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014Glutinous rice porridge is widely used to mortar formulations in ancient China, and it is significant to understand the interaction between amylopectin and cement pastes. X-ray diffraction analysis, field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) analysis and atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis are used to investigate hydration products in the ...

Production And Transportation Of Natural Gas Hydrate
Technical Meeting / Petroleum Conference of The South Saskatchewan Section, 1999Abstract The storage of natural gas in hydrates has been investigated since it was discovered that they store large quantities of gas. Dtflerent storage methods have been suggested: either keeping hydrate under low temperature or under pressure.

Production of Sedimentary Methane Hydrates by Depressurization
SPE Bergen One Day Seminar, 2016Abstract The voluminous amounts of hydrates found in nature are distributed across all continents and pose a huge possibility for future energy harvest. In fact, the total amount of energy stored in hydrates is predicted to be in the same range as conventional fossil fuels combined.

Hydrate Problem in the Oil Production Industry
SPE International Symposium on Oilfield Chemistry, 1999Abstract The paper briefly presents some important aspects related to natural gas hydrates. Some theoretical aspects in connection with the thermodynamic and kinetic mechanisms of hydrates formation are reviewed, following which the methods for controlling their generation during drilling, gas production, transportation ...

Hydrate Inhibition in Headers with No Production Flow
SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, 2004Abstract When deep-water subsea production is shut in for long periods, measures are normally taken to prevent the formation of hydrate blockages in the flowline network. One common inhibition method is to inject methanol into the jumpers, manifold headers, and well bores.

PRODUCTION STRATEGIES FOR MARINE HYDRATE RESERVOIRS
2016Large quantities of natural gas hydrate are present in marine sediments along the coastlines of many countries as well as in arctic regions. This research is aimed at assessing production of natural gas from the marine deposits. We had developed a multiphase, multicomponent, thermal, 3D simulator in the past, which can simulate production of hydrates ...

INVESTIGATION ON A NOVEL REACTOR FOR GAS HYDRATE PRODUCTION
2011Gas hydrates have a large capacity for the storage of gases and are an attractive method for gas filtration and transportation. However, hydrate formation is usually controlled by the rate of crystallization and thus it can be a slow process. A technology that will rapidly and continuously form hydrate is necessary for scale-up. A novel reactor with an
