Air in Hydraulic Transmission Systems
Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology, 1951IN addition to the completely separated air which may be trapped in a hydraulic system, air may also exist in close association with the fluid in either of two states, namely:
D. Rendel, G.R. Allen

On Multimedia Teaching of Hydraulic Transmission
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013As an important means of modern education reform, multimedia teaching has obvious advantages. It is used widely in teaching and has improved the teaching effect and quality to a certain extent. However, with the development and popularization of multimedia technology, there are many problems to be solved.

Transmission-Hydraulic Fluid Foaming
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1987<div class="htmlview paragraph">Foaming of transmission-hydraulic fluids is due to both fluid properties and equipment design and operation. This paper discusses equipment design parameters which influence the the rate of foam formation and collapse. The effect of surfactants and foam inhibitors is also discussed.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic Power Transmission
1994The specific energy of a moving fluid (liquid or gas) is described by the Bernoulli equation: $${Y_f} = E/\dot m = b + _2^{{u^2}} + gz + \int {\frac{{\partial u}}{{\partial t}} \cdot ds} $$ .

Hydraulic transients in transmission and distribution systems
Urban Water Journal, 2004Water hammer can degrade the integrity of a transmission or distribution system in one of two ways: through catastrophic failure or by benign failure. Catastrophic failure occurs during a water hammer event when pipes rupture, joints move, excessive noise occurs, etc.

Pipe Joints for Hydraulic Power Transmission
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, 1951Hydraulic machinery suffers from the disadvantage of leakage of the fluid. Faulty pipe joints are one of the main offenders in this respect. In this paper the author describes some tests, carried out on a variety of pipe joints, to find a satisfactory one.
