Design and modelling of hydrocyclones and hydrocyclone networks for fine particle processing
Minerals Engineering, 1993Abstract An overview of the development of an integrated experimental and theoretical approach to the modelling of individual and multiple-hydrocyclone-networks is described. This methodology seeks to overcome some of the inherent limitations of previous experimental investigations by employing novel on-line and in-situ measurement technology ...

Automation in Hydrocyclone Operations
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1989Abstract Automation of a hydrocyclone, used as a classifier, is discussed. Instrumentation, developed for a successful automation is identified as monitoring and control instruments, are connected to a microcomputer. The instruments were designed to transmit and receive signals to operate servo-mechanism which in turn aided in automation.

Hydrocyclones in dewatering circuits
Minerals Engineering, 2003Abstract When hydrocyclones are used in dewatering circuits it is important to know the potential impact of trying to balance the flow of liquid to the overflow and underflow streams and the size distribution of the solids in these respective streams.
